A visa is an authorisation document for entry into Türkiye. Eligible travellers can use the online application route as an alternative to the procedures at Turkish missions abroad or border checkpoints.

After a successful application, the document is supplied electronically. Officers may check its details in the system, but keeping a digital or printed copy during the trip is advisable.

The authorities retain the final assessment of entry, as they do with all visas.
